Your Tinker AFB Bucket List

Many military families create a “Bucket List” of things to do and see each time they PCS to a new location. Tinker Air Force Base sits in the heart of Oklahoma. There are plenty of fun places to visit while your family is stationed here. Some of these great options are within 30 mins to an hour’s ride from the base.

The Osteology Museum is really awesome experience. You get to see the evolution of the human species over the years. There is two floors of bones that you can look at and enjoy knowledge about each item. The museum also offers classes throughout the month an example is owl pellet dissection.

The Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum is primarily for the younger set. If you have littles this is a must visit destination. It is about an hour from Tinker AFB but totally worth it for an all-day adventure. There are many different rooms for the kids to experience and have hands-on fun.
